Metadata

View our metadata tables before downloading data. We collect various water quality parameters as profiles as well as discrete samples.

Data Details

Data quality and measurement procedures have varied significantly over the period. Beware of these attributes before any analysis of these data. Data quality is indicated by a data qualifier code (qc) with four levels (see table). Only data with a qc of level 1 or 2 are displayed from this site. Measurement procedures are referenced for sampling from 1990 onwards.

Download Mooring Data

Download mooring data from individual instruments prior to (RAW) and after data quality assurance (QA) review.

Definition:

• RAW - Data from factory-calibrated sensors provided by the Sea Bird instruments.
• QA - Data that have been evaluated and corrected for sensor drift and other biases.

Comment: 

Due to current staff shortage, the quality-assured mooring data will be gradually provided.  Please use the raw instrument data at your own discretion.  Data that have been reviewed will move from the (RAW) to (QA) link.
