You will then need to click on the Enable Macros button to run these MACROS. (You can disable this query by clearing the box marked "Always ask before opening workbooks with macros") =================================================================================== POTENTIAL ERROR MESSAGE: It is possible that Microsoft Visual Basic may open with an error window that states “Compile error: Can’t find project or library.” If this is the case, it is likely that the Visual Basic routines included in the workbook cannot locate one or both of the following function files that need to be present on your computer’s hard drive to allow the workbook to perform correctly: LOOKUP.XLA SOLVER.XLA To see if you have these files, use your file browser to search for them. Usually, these files are located in the Library folder contained in the MS Office folder. The file "Solver.xla" is probably contained in a folder called “SOLVER” within the library folder. IF you don’t have these files, THEN you may need to install one or both of them from your original Microsoft Office source disk. For more details, refer to the Section of "Common Error Messages and Trouble- shooting Tips" of Chapter 2: General Instruction contained in "User's Manual". ADJUSTMENT OF VIEWING AREA: Check to see if the work area fits your screen. If you can't see the entire work area, you may want to shrink it to fit your screen: select Zoom from the View menu. Click on Custom and try a slight reduction (e.g., 85%), then click on the OK button. If the work area is still not completely visible, try again with another reduction. You can customize the Worksheets to fit your screen.
